In the past, headphones and headsets have either been wired or wireless via Bluetooth. Wired solutions are cumbersome and limiting, and wireless Bluetooth tends to make audio sound subpar. But with Wi-Fi, audio can be provided in a high-definition format that is just as good as a wired connection. Unity is the only platform on the market with Wi-Fi in this regard.
Unity's app supports iOS 14 and later, iPadOS 14 and later, and Android 9 and later devices.
Unity cannot be controlled from a PC. It can only be controlled or used through an iOS, iPadOS or Android device.
Unity has partnered with Qobuz for lossless and high-definition audio, as well as Spotify and other major streaming platforms. In addition, Qobuz provides true lossless and high-definition audio streaming.
Unity can function without Wi-Fi connectivity; however, high-definition lossless music will not be available, nor will advanced voice commands.
Unity can be used as a Spotify Connect device by using any device with the Spotify app, clicking or tapping on the Spotify Connect icon, and selecting the Unity device for playback. This will allow high-quality streaming without the quality loss present when using Bluetooth.
